Love & Marriage

Posted on: June 10, 2011

This weekend my cousin Charley and her fiancée Lee are getting married and I’m really chuffed for them both even though we don’t speak that often. On the same day, Saturday 11th June, Janis Bennion and Allan Callister from Greater Manchester Skeptics and the QED conference 2010 are getting married too.

I happened to be in Trowbridge today looking for fathers day cards (which is on the 19th) and I saw these two cards in a shop that made me smile and think of both couples who are taking a big step in their lives together tomorrow. The first was within the wedding cards, the second with the generic cards.

Lets hope that the cards (pictured below) are an indication of how both marriages will play out 😉

My best wishes to both couples!

Hi Hayley!

With all the fuss of the wedding and honeymoon, I’ve only just managed to get to this post, and thank you, it’s a lovely thought 🙂
We were so touched by your kind gift too, which arrived on a day that we were finding really difficult and stressful, and cheered us up no end. It was such a lovely surprise. I thought you’d like to know that I put the metal hearts on mine and Allan’s place settings at our wedding breakfast 🙂

Thank you again for thinking of us.
